The CDC recommends wearing a cloth face covering in public settings where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g. grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Wearing a mask in public may help save a life.

Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under the age of 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

Handle your mask with the elastic sides for best protection. It is recommended to machine wash and dry the mask before using and routinely clean it, depending on the frequency of use.
